Phew! What a night. Thanks to The Management and Bobby for inviting us. Lefty, her boyfriend, and I had a blast. Everyone was very nice — especially Bobby.

Starting lineup (we think we saw): Bobby Boswell, Rod Dyachenko, Bryan Arguez, Jeff Carroll, Stephen deRoux, Devon McTavish, Justin Moose, Clyde Simms, Jamil Walker, Kasali Yinka Casal, Kiki Willis, Brad North. Call it a 3-6-1.
The party was a great mix of people: Screaming Eagles, La Barra Brava, preppy DC-ers (Late Night Shots?), and Play regulars. As you can see, I’m a complete amateur with a camera — especially in low light.
Bryan Arguez & Stephen deRoux can dance; most non-DCU guys (read “preppy white guys”) couldn’t.
Pointy shoes, jeans, and mixed drinks were the evening’s most popular accoutrements.
Play isn’t my normal scene. I’m more jazz and punk rock than club-pop. Nevertheless, Play earned our fondness thanks to a) all the hot women and b) they have a far post! Well its technically a dance pole, but I’m sticking to my version.
