Wins-day at RFK!
It was a high school reunion tonight at RFK. All the former DC United players came back, but older and fatter. DC United (2006 kind) rolled out a line up of reserves that held RBNY starters in check for an hour before yielding to a group of starters that put the game away.
Da Bruce says RBNY is only as good as Amado Guevara. Too bad for RBNY because Amado played like a Hoover . . . he sucked! Marvell Wynne was speedy as always, but still can’t cross. Best moment of the night: watching Fat Tony waddle after a errant Alecko pass that rolled close to the net.
Captain Brian Carroll continued West Springfield HS Domination Week ™. BC was his usual solid self, even though Rod Dyachenko keep running away from the midfield like the center circle was on fire.
