Day 21 - Continental Drift

I knew England was counterfeit, but France’s fine play was surprising. I figured Brazil had the better players and would grind out a 1 – Nil win, but instead Zizou and Les Blues were the stronger side. The Continentals rule the day and the semi-final round . . .

Best Game: Brazil v. France. The best players in the world shared the pitch for 90-minutes and didn’t disappoint.

Best ESPN Factoid: I’ll admit my DC United allegiance makes me bias, but I like likening to Disco Jon Harkes. Harkes’ criticism of how Wayne Rooney earned a red card was “much better” than Marcelo Balboa’s endless drivel on the refereeing.

Best face paint: Sweet birthmark.

The Final Whistle: Dickhead.
