Day 2- We have a confession

We didn't watch any of the games.

It was a travel day for The Far Post.

Best Game

Dunno. But it looks like Germany came to play. Poor Poland, they never beat Germany. But!

On the plus side for Poland, Robert Kubica won the Canadian Grand Prix and became the first driver from Poland to ever win a F1 grand prix. But!

He did it in a German car. Sigh. Poland really is the Charlie Brown of Europe.

(Yeah, The Far Post watches F1, you got a problem with that?)

Best Face Paint

I’m not very stern about there being actual face paint (grin).

The Final Whistle

From ESPN:

Podolski said he chose not to celebrate his goals because of his Polish roots.

‘I was born in Poland. I’ve got a big family. It’s a part of my heart,’ he said.

That is pure class, Lukas. Here’s to more players looking to be positive and not to show up the opponent (I’m looking at you Cuauhtemoc Blanco).

Rating for the Day

No rating. But we leave you with this:

Now that is how you arrive at a game!

Comment:

Agreed about the face paint.

Oh, and Kronenbourg FTW.
